SEABEARS - "SON OF AN AMPUTATED SPIRIT" SPECIAL REISSUE-CD [MYSPACE ERA]

BTST118 is probably one of the deepest cuts I’ve done! They’re called SEABEARS with their EP “Son Of An Amputated Spirit” Seabears hail from Maryland, they are a female fronted grindy techy core band. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what they play. I hear a lot of Thumbscrew but with heavy breakdowns. These guys and gals lived a very short life with 4 songs to their name and that’s it, they came, dropped an EP and left. Kirsten the vocalist has a nice raw angry scream which compliments the rest of the aggressiveness of the band. Fast and unrelenting are two words that sum up the band.
